Combis, as part of B2B Europe, recently signed a partnership agreement with Cynomi to make it easy for its clients to comply with the NIS2 Directive using an automated vCISO service (a virtual Chief Information Security Officer) complete with AI to automate critical CISO cybersecurity functions. Hrvatski Telekom, OTE, Slovak Telekom, and T-Mobile Polska Business Solutions will be the first companies within the B2B Europe footprint to launch the vCISO service, leveraging Cynomi’s innovative AI security platform.

Over the next few years, businesses will have to align with the NIS2 Directive, as incorporated into national law. In addition to compliance, Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) will be required to conduct risk assessments, develop security policies, and carry out various administrative tasks.

However, many companies, especially small and medium-sized ones, lack a CISO and the necessary skills to not only ensure compliance but also navigate all the obligations laid down by the NIS2 Directive and relevant laws. That’s why Hrvatski Telekom and Combis have introduced the vCISO service package, which is designed to address this precise challenge.

Cynomi’s AI platform enables businesses to leverage advanced cyber risk management by continuously analyzing clients’ security vulnerabilities and compliance gaps. The platform also streamlines risk assessments, creates custom security policies, and generates prioritized remediation plans tailored to each client’s needs.

The Cynomi platform is modeled on the world’s best CISOs, with each organization’s unique cyber profile and external resources taken into consideration. The combination of vCISO and Telekom managed services gives clients leading end-to-end cybersecurity support to help business secure their growth over the long term.

The partnership demonstrates a commitment to innovation and resilience despite global challenges. Driven by a shared mission to deliver the best solutions for customers, the collaboration will naturally help build a stronger and more secure digital environment for every business to thrive online.

“Cybersecurity is now the most critical area for any business, regardless of size. Integrating vCISO tools with our services is a unique offering and a true breakthrough, especially for small businesses that can’t afford a full-time CISO but still need expert, strategic security guidance. For enterprise clients, our AI-powered tool streamlines regulatory analysis and accelerates compliance with frameworks like NIS2 and DORA—minimizing time, complexity, and effort”
