A new chapter for the brand begins in Greece: COSMOTE TELEKOM is becoming Telekom, bringing products, services and customer touchpoints under one unified brand identity.

Magenta now operates throughout Greece: OTE Group’s commercial brand COSMOTE TELEKOM is rebranding as Telekom. This marks a new era that will bring the expertise of a global brand to Greece, opening up new opportunities for digital experiences, products and solutions. For business customers, this also means access to an increasingly integrated portfolio spanning connectivity, broadband and ITC solutions. The transition culminated on September 8 with the launch of a new communications campaign, creating a unified brand experience across the country.

“Europe is a central pillar of Deutsche Telekom’s strategy, and Greece plays an important role in our ambition to be the leading digital telecommunications company and to continue growing,” says Dominique Leroy, Board Member for Europe at Deutsche Telekom. “Uniting our brands opens up new opportunities for our customers in Greece. It allows us to combine the innovative strengths of our Group with our global partnerships to deliver even better solutions and experiences.”

“The transition to the Telekom brand is a natural evolution for us. COSMOTE was the brand that connected Greece to the digital era. Telekom connects Greece with the future of digital technology and the limitless potential of Artificial Intelligence,” says Kostas Nebis, Chairman and CEO of OTE Group.

ONE TELEKOM BRAND

With the rebranding, the wide range of products and services offered by OTE Group will not change. Customers will continue to have access to fixed and mobile services, broadband, pay-TV, integrated ITC solutions and a wide range of other digital services.

What will change is how these products and services are presented. COSMOTE 5G and COSMOTE Fiber will become Telekom 5G and Telekom Fiber, while the pay-TV service will be renamed MagentaTV and payzy will become Magenta Pay. COSMOTE stores will also transition to the Telekom name and color, and telekom.gr will appear as the network name on mobile devices.

The new identity will also be rolled out across digital touchpoints. Websites, apps and social media channels will adopt Telekom branding and the Magenta visual identity. The main website will move to telekom.gr, the COSMOTE App will become the Telekom App, and social media channels will be renamed Telekom GR. Subsidiaries of OTE Group will also adopt the new brand identity.
