Premium connectivity for remote areas in Greece

In partnership with Ericsson, COSMOTE TELEKOM launched a differentiated 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) service, branded as 5G WiFi for premium connectivity. As a reliable service, 5G WiFi delivers fast fixed internet—even in areas without fixed-line networks or with limited coverage. To provide these services, the 5G WiFi technology service primarily uses COSMOTE TELEKOM 5G and 5G Standalone (5G+) networks, powered by Ericsson’s 5G Radio and Core capabilities. Using network slicing, the solution provides homes and businesses with wireless connections and best-in-class high-speed internet and voice services—even in hard-to-reach locations.
