Challenge
Scania was looking for a regional partner to provide a full portfolio of telco and ICT services for all its dealer and service centers managed within the countries of the Central European Region. They required a high-speed data and Internet connectivity, colocation space, managed security and an outsourced PBX and voice service. The customer’s priorities included a single point of contact for all the countries and to centralize its expenses compared to a country approach.
Solution
In order to meet Scania's requirements concerning bandwidth, redundancy, quality, and cost efficiency, GTS implemented an IP/MPLS network solution, that provides data connections among more than 30 branches located in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. The end-user sites are equipped with managed, proactively monitored Customer Premises Equipment (CPEs) that provide full data network visibility and control of performance statistics.
In addition, GTS provides a premium Internet connection to more than 15 locations in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia, voice solutions including managed PBX for their Czech Republic locations and a fully managed security solution based on our Czech Republic’s Data Center.
