Challenge
Coca-Cola HBC, operating in 28 countries in 13 different time zones across the EMEA region, was looking for a new provider offering both high quality and flexibility for its data centre needs. Ensuring business continuity is crucial for such a large enterprise, therefore the customer required a reliable partner with broad expertise in ICT services.
Solution
OTE Group was able to provide Coca-Cola HBC with a complete solution that included the full spectrum of requested services. The deal covers data centre and disaster recovery services from OTE and T-Systems Hungary respectively. The primary data centre supports service business transactions for more than 36,000 employees.
The data centre also covers critical transactions including ordering, customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), Human Resources (HR), and call centre services.
Apart from the primary data centre in Greece, the role of the Budapest-based data centre is considered highly important, as it provides uninterruptible service in the event of an event (e.g. earthquake or other external influences).
